Announcing the 2011 iYouth Conference: Young Minds, Fresh Perspectives
November 19, 2010 at 5:42 pm | Posted in Conference | 2 CommentsAfter much hard work, many details falling into place, and spending less time on homework than it warrants, iYouth is pleased to open up registration for the 2011 iYouth Conference: Young Minds, Fresh Perspectives. Details are available on the iYouth 2011 Conference page here.
Personally, I am really excited about the line up of work shop presenters and keynote speakers for this year, including once again, beloved Nancy Pearl! In trying to accommodate both young adult AND childrens’ librarians, we distributed workshops so that each time slot has one geared to each demographic. A new addition to the conference is an extended ‘networking lunch’ that will be held in Mary Gates Hall.
Registration is available through BrownPaperTickets.com. We look forward to seeing you at the conference. Please don’t hesitate to email with questions!

What happens from 8 – 9:30 a.m.? Is that all sign in time?
I attended last year and found it to be a fresh and invigorating day. I learned new things and gained different insights. Thank you for hosting this conference again in 2011.

8-8:30 am is the sign in time. Our keynote for the morning session runs from 8:30-9:20. Thanks for catching that lapse in our published schedule- I’ll add that to our website.
